| 12/12/2006-AFLikud Young Professional event with Dr. Uzi Landau- Red Sky Lounge, New York. |
 |
| American Friends of Likud Young Professionals spent an enjoyable evening lounging at Red Sky in Manhattan, while getting to hear from Dr. Uzi Landau, one of Israel’s leading politicians. Dr. Landau addressed issues currently facing Israel and the Middle East, in addition to the ramifications those issues may have for the United States. Specifically, he noted that an emboldened Iran could ultimately threaten to attack the US with nuclear tipped missiles. Dr. Landau also spoke about the recent Iraq Study Group report, whose findings he found troublesome in that they are analogous to ‘throwing sheep to hungry wolves in the hopes of turning them into vegetarians.’ Dr. Landau’s insights were well received by Likud YP’s and we look forward to hosting him again in the future. |
